CNN anchorman Anderson Cooper has landed Angelina Jolie‘s first post-Namibia TV interview for his Anderson Cooper 360 show. Cooper taped the candid chat in a Los Angeles hotel earlier this week. It will air on World Refugee Day next Tuesday. During the hour-long chat, Jolie discussed her work in Africa and the birth of her baby, Shiloh Nouvel Jolie-Pitt.

“You know, because you’re there for the birth, which I wasn’t for my first two kids, you’re just suddenly terrified that they’re not gonna take a first breath,” the 31-year-old actress says in an interview to air Tuesday on CNN’s “Anderson Cooper 360″ (10 p.m. ET).  “That was my whole focus. I just wanted to hear her cry.”

In one of her first interviews since giving birth May 27 to daughter Shiloh, Angelina Jolie says, “The more children I have, the more I feel it’s my duty” to advocate for women and children in developing countries.
Angelina Jolie plans to place maternal duties before her career when it comes to caring for her baby Shiloh, according to a published report yesterday.  “I won’t get a nanny to do all the hard work,” Angelina Jolie was quoted as saying.

Angelina Jolie, who also has a son, Maddox, 4, and daughter Zahara, 1, graces the cover of Forbes’ annual power list of 100 hottest movie stars, musicians and athletes,” on stands today. But she’s not No. 1. Rather, she’s tied at No. 35 with Jennifer Aniston “the ex-wife of Shiloh’s dad, Brad Pitt.
Tom Cruise takes the list’s top honor. The reason: His lucrative $67 million back-end deal for War of the Worlds. Pitt (No. 20) is the only other solo actor in the top 20.

Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie’s baby Shiloh Nouvel Jolie-Pitt has already become a trendsetter, although she is only 18 days old. Since appearing on the front of People magazine in a $42 T-shirt, Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt’s baby girl has caused the Denver boutique, which sent it to her to be flooded with potential customers.
The T-shirt, featuring a skull and crossbones, an eagle and some pots and pans with the caption The Pots & Pans Band in Gothic script, has already sold out after a rush of telephone and internet orders and the boutique has had to place an order for more of the fashionable item of clothing.

Meanwhile, according to thespoof.com, Ebay, the online auction house is listing what it claims is a genuine Shiloh Jolie Pitt diaper containing actual poop from the bowels of Shiloh herself. Although the auction began with a no-reserve starting price of $90,000, the current high bid is $348,000. The item’s Ebay seller, PittPapaRazzi8879 acquired the diaper by personally climbing into the trash bin behind the Pitts’ Malibu mansion and searching through the rubbish.

In other news, the UK’s Grazia magazine reported that a source has revealed to them that Angelina Jolie has no intention of marrying Brad Pitt, even though he has apparently begged her to do so. Says the source, “Brad has literally got down on his knees to beg Angelina to change her mind, but she laughs pulls him to his feet, kisses him and says, “Let’s not ruin something so perfect.” Begging is not the way to Angelina’s heart. Whatever “hand” Pitt had, he lost when he did that.

The actress, who left Namibia with her family last weekend, says she plans to be in Washington, D.C., on Tuesday for World Refugee Day. Before she was named a goodwill ambassador, she told U.N. officials that her bad-girl reputation in Hollywood made her a poor choice, but they took her on, anyway. “In my early 20s, I was fighting with myself. Now I take that punk in me to Washington, and I fight for something important.”
