Cindy Margolis on Playboy Cover MagazineThe self-proclaimed most downloaded woman in the history of the Internet, “Blonde Bombshell” Cindy Margolis, has finally gotten completely naked for the December 2006 issue of Playboy magazine. She has posed for Playboy many times in the past, but never nude. The magazine hits newsstands on November 7th but the photographs online of Margolis have already been illegally posted on many web sites, you also can get from Playboy.com subscribers now.

When Cindy asked about why she did it now, she said, “My decision to do Playboy is literally 20 years in the making. I’ve always prided myself in keeping my clothes on, being the girl next door. I’ve had the number-one downloaded (celebrity) Web site, and for years I’ve been known as the “Queen of the Internet” in the “Guinness Book of World Records,” America Online, Yahoo!, (all while) keeping my clothes on, and I’ve been very proud of that. Every couple years when Mr. Hefner would call, I would very graciously decline, because my mom would kill me, and I thought it was more mysterious keeping my clothes on.

But, this year, when I got the call from Mr. Hefner, it was my 40th birthday. So I thought, “Wow — at 40, they still want me?” And I thought it’s almost an inspiration — like a “you go, girl” moment. I feel empowered that you can be married and have three children and still be sexy and confident and look great.

My mom would have killed me before, but I’m an adult woman now, and I’m ready to show the world that you can have it all at 40 — be fabulous, 40, and pose for Playboy… ”

In an interview with EXTRA she said that Desperate Housewives had been an inspiration for her as it showed that mothers her age can also be fit and sexy. A portion of the proceeds from issues sold will go to a charity for which Margolis is a spokesperson, Resolve. The charity aims to get fertility treatment better covered by insurance companies. Margolis is married to restaurateur Guy Starkman. Following fertility treatment, she gave birth to a son, Nicholas Isaac, in 2002 and twin daughters, Sabrina and Sierra, in 2005.

Cindy Margolis who was born on October 1, 1965, in Los Angeles, Calif., started her modeling career on her own, it all started at Cal State Northridge, where Margolis was taking a business course, which spawned the idea of starting a greeting card company, with Cindy on the cover of every card. This business venture led to various modeling jobs and TV appearances, and eventually to an appearance on AOL’s website. She has modeled in advertising for companies such as Reebok, Vidal Sasoon, Coors, Hanes and Sunkist. She also appeared on the TV shows “Married With Children,” “Murphy Brown,” “Baywatch” and “Baywatch Nights.” Cindy is most famous for her title of “Queen of the Internet,” a title she held from 1996-1999, and she has been downloaded over 58 million times.

In November of 2006 Cindy signed an exclusive poker representation agreement with Tropical Poker. Margolis has become a highly sought-after poker player and will represent Tropical Poker in the press, media interviews, poker events and appearances, as well as at the 2007 World Series of Poker.
