Desperate Housewives Sex Scene Hits YouTube

Nearly a month before a hot sex scene from an upcoming episode of ABC’s “Desperate Housewives” was to air in prime time, it was leaked to YouTube. The steamy Desperate Housewives scene marks the first time an unaired TV segment has made it on the popular YouTube.com site. E! Online reported Saturday that if ardent fans typed “desperate sex” into their Web browsers, a 60-second clip from the steamy scene was made available by a couple of posters to the popular YouTube Web site.
The bosses of hit TV series Desperate Housewives have launched an investigation to find out how a racy sex scene clip titled “Desperate Housewives - unaired scene” from an upcoming episode made it to the Internet site YouTube.com. “This video has been removed at the request of copyright owner Disney because its content was used without permission,” was the message that greeted YouTube visitors who tried to call up the clip after Disney’s protest.
The scene apparently features Bree (Marcia Cross) and her new boy-toy Orson (Kyle MacLachlan) in bed, with the underwear-clad housewife protesting her partner’s attempt to give her oral sex. “I don’t do that,” she says. “I’m a Republican.”
Orson replies: “I’m a Libertarian, I believe in minimizing the role of the state and maximizing individual rights. Trust me, I know what I’m doing.”
Although networks increasingly rely on the internet for promotion of their series, the possibility of pirated clips making their way online could threaten shows trying to keep plot twists a secret. ABC insists that no one at the network purposely leaked the footage in an attempt to increase interest in the show after what critics, fans and even producers agreed was a disappointing last season.

YouTube, by some measures, is the leading video-sharing site on the internet. It says 60,000 new videos are posted daily by amateurs and professionals. It’s absolutely vital that this video remain on YouTube. If Republicans can learn to enjoy oral sex, perhaps they won’t reproduce quite so often.
