Eddie Murphy having Scary Spice baby?

Wedding bells will soon be ringing when comedian Eddie Murphy, 45, and former Spice Girl Melanie Brown, 31, tie the knot sometime next month, rumors saying because “Scary Spice” is four months pregnant with Murphy’s child. According to The Daily Record, a source close to the couple is saying the baby was conceived shortly after the couple began dating. The couple, who have been dating for around four months, will marry in a lavish ceremony at the Hotel Roosevelt, in Los Angeles. The “Shrek” actor’s family are thrilled he is going to get married with Mel Brown, better known as Scary Spice. His older brother Charlie said, “Eddie seems happy with her and that’s what’s important.”
In other news, Eddie Murphy is coming back to the big screen playing more than one role 
in the comedy “Norbit“. Just like he did in “The Nutty Professor“, Murphy has three title roles in “Norbit”. Norbit (Eddie Murphy) has never had it easy. As a baby, he was abandoned on the steps of a Chinese restaurant/orphanage and raised by Mr. Wong (Eddie Murphy).
Things get worse for the nebbish Norbit when he’s forced into marriage by the mean, obscene, junk food-chugging queen, Rasputia (Eddie Murphy). Just when Norbit’s hanging by his last thread, his childhood sweetheart, Kate (Thandie Newton), moves back to town and he tries to dump his overbearing fiance, while scheming to find ways to be with the girl of his dreams. “Norbit” opens Feb. 9, 2007
According to reports, Mel confirmed the news while shopping at the hip Le Bra Lingerie boutique in West Hollywood on Saturday. She is a frequent customer and admitted that the pregnancy had left her feeling tired. Mel also said she was concerned she may be carrying twins, since they tend to run in Murphy’s family. The two of them are said to be happy about their big news. Mel reportedly “hasn’t stopped grinning” and was said to have sported her bump while in Leeds last week. Murphy, who already has seven children, divorced his wife, Nicole, in April. The “Nutty Professor” actor has five children with Nicole, a son with Tamara Hood and another son with Paulette McNeely. Brown has a seven-year-old daughter, Phoenix Chi, from her previous marriage to Jimmy Gulzar. Eddie and Mel enjoyed a Hawaiian vacation with their children at the exclusive Four Seasons Hotel, in Maui last August. The trip was reportedly intended to be a test to see how their offspring got on with one another and with their potential new stepparents.
It is believed the couples are drawing up a guest list of star friends they want to attend the nuptials, including Mel’s former band members Victoria Beckham, Geri Halliwell, Melanie C and Emma Bunton. Both the parties’ reps have declined to comment on this issue, with Murphy’s rep saying “We do not comment on Mr. Murphy’s personal life.”
