Katie Price, Britain’s Glamour Girl Launches Big-Boob Lingerie Line

Katie Price, aka Jordan, Britain’s answer to Pamela Anderson and wife of pop-singer Peter Andre, has launched a new line of lingerie in London. It is aimed specifically at the busty woman who wants a sexy bra to go with her sexy panties - hitherto, according to Katie, big-breasted women had to make do with frumpy bras.
Last month Katie, 28, revealed that she had always thought that she was a size 32D after being measured at clothing giant Marks & Spencer’s lingerie department. However, she recently had her famous bust professionally measured by Rigby and Peller, the Rolls- Royce of lingerie makers, and discovered she was actually a size 30GG.
“I’ve been wearing the wrong-sized bras all my life. I went to Marks & Spencer and they measured me as a 32D. A 32 [Bleep]ing D! Me! Can you imagine!” the Mirror quoted her as saying. “I kept getting that four-t** look, you know? But I can tell you now, I’m actually a 30GG. I’m finally wearing the right size.”
Marketed by Panache lingerie under a multi million dollar deal negotiated a few months ago, the Katie Price Lingerie Range focuses on women with big breasts, and not for skinny lasses, according to the sexy model. The bras come in 32 to 38, and D-G cup size. The sexy bras are matched by silky black underwear.
“My Katie Price range is for the bigger busted woman and I can assure you that the bras will give women the best lift and support - and of course look sexy! I realised there just wasn’t a product out there for women with D to G curves that was feminine and comfortable,” she said. “I’m shocked that so many women are wearing the wrong-sized bras - it’s so important.”
Posing with ten other women, including her own mother, Katie said “There are lots of people who promote their underwear with stick thin models but I wanted to use my family and friends so that’s what I did. Everything about the underwear is what I wear,” The Sun quoted.
Her launch was marred by Katie and her entourage showing up 40 minutes late at the George store in London’s Cheetham Hill, but she didn’t let the waiting crowd down, and appeared from behind a pink sequinned curtain to thunderous applause.
Modeling the new line with Jordan were her best friend, Michelle Baker, friends Nicola Tume, Louise Crankshaw and Julie Williams, beautician Sarah Asgari, pedicurist Alison Coates, her sister-in-law, Louise Infield, beauty expert Jo Wood (godmother to Katie’s son), her nanny Rebecca Gauld, and even her own mother, Amy.
While the curvaceous lasses obviously haven’t had as much modelling experience as their famous pal, they all put in a flawless performance at Monday’s event.
Evident throughout was her glamour girl persona, Jordan, sitting around for 45 minutes in a silk wrap that displayed her assets to advantage, signing autographs and posing for photos, but afterward backstage the fade was dropped and girl-next-door Katie appeared for an interview.
Dressed in a towelling dressing gown and loose-fitting tracksuit bottoms, she said “The lingerie is shifting really well. I have had offers to put my name to underwear ranges before but I wanted this to be something I would wear too. So I chose a family-run but very professional firm who had the same kind of taste as me and let me put all my ideas into the design. And, unlike Kylie and Kelly Brook I wanted to model this. I am very proud of it.”
“I was sick of having really pretty knickers and frumpy old bras, which I didn’t like because of the size of my boobs,” Katie added. “Now I, and lots of other women, can have pretty bras as well as knickers.”
The Katie Price Collection is presently available only in the UK exclusively from George at supermarket giant Asda. Prices start from £5.00.
Between modelling engagements Katie has been recording an album of duets with husband Peter Andr entitled Whole New World, and all proceeds from its sale will go to charity.
“We’ve worked really hard to make this album work,” Katie tells me. “And we’re not in it for the money, either. This is about raising as much money for charity as we can.”
Katie has chosen five charities to benefit from sales of the duets album and has obviously been influenced by her son Harvey’s sight disability.
“It doesn’t matter how much money you have there just isn’t enough help out there for parents who have a disabled child,” she tells me.
“I had no idea what it would take to look after a disabled child until I had Harvey.”

Does the Katie Price collection go up to HH? I am a 34HH and it is so hard to find a decent bra. Katie enthuses big boobs, so far I can’t find any in her range. If this is so why not? It is still unfair if they don’t come in a HH range, if there was any range I thought I could get a big bra that fits I thought it would be Jordan’s!

Katie, gravity has let me down after 3 children. I am so grateful that whilst shopping in Asda I found pretty comfortable bras, at such a reasonable price and lets not forget the fit (36G). I usually wait for the sales to buy my bra, but no longer. Thank you so much I feel like a new women. Gravity who needs you!
