Her interview with Sky will be conducted by Stars In Their Eyes host Cat Deeley.
Sky One’s director of programming, Richard Woolfe, said: “Kylie is one of the UK’s biggest and best-loved artists. Ever since she made her UK debut in Neighbours some 20 years ago, she has found a place in the nation’s heart. The news of her diagnosis sent shockwaves across the world.” Kelly Minogue was diagnosed with cancer during her Showgirls tour in May 2005. Kylie remained out of the public eye until recent weeks, when she was seen out in public, brimming like the old days and sporting her short, sexy cropped hair.
‘Kylie: The Interview’ will be broadcast on Sunday 16 July at 9pm on Sky One. The Interview, Cat will chat to the singer about her illness and plans for the future; she’ll also look back at her career, from her days in Neighbours (20 years ago!) to her pop stardom and her forthcoming children’s book, The Showgirl Princess. Wellcome back girl!
