I would like to thank Victoria Beckham for the opportunity to do my part to bring epilepsy out of the closet and into the light of day.

Since the age of 5, I am now 52, I have had uncontrolled epilepsy. I had both complex partial and generalized epilepsy and therefore have been and am susceptable to Complex partial, absance, atonic and tonic-clonic siezures. A case of epilepsy does not mean your life is over. I have a Bachelors and Masters degree, accounts with wholesale suppliers worldwide but because epilepsy makes conventional work very difficult I have an unconventional work, I own, operate, stock and sell from two, soon to be more, online stores. A person may be photosensative and flashing lights may cause a siezure in some but it does not MEAN all who have epilepsy and see flashing lights WILL have a siezure. Those with epilepsy are very capable and can accomplish a great many things that most without epilepsy can only dream of.

In 2006 I had a Vegas Nerve Stimulator implanted in me in an attempt to address and control my case of epilepsy. I am now not under total control of my epilepsy but I am partialy under control I feel one has to meet his problems head on, confront the problems and make his own way in life. In other words I feel that today one must do for himself and not let others do for him. If one has epilepsy he has much more to overcome than most but he must be given a chance.
