The former Miss Great Britain, Danielle Lloyd, said, “I absolutely love Rocawear.” Am not sure if she really love Rocawear or she has to say that because she is the new brand ambassador for the clothing range Rocawear UK. But Ms. Lloyd’s face will bring great attention to the Rocawear brand as she is still a prominent figure in the modelling and pop culture world internationally. Ms. Lloyd has made tabloid and internet headlines last year, when she was stripped of her crown and title of Miss Great Britain after it was discovered she was sleeping with one of the competition judges, West Ham United footballer Teddy Sheringham, when the contest took place, and also because she had posed nude for December 2006 issue of Playboy.  “I had a feeling that if I did Playboy I might lose my title, but it is every girl’s dream to be in Playboy and my dream came true. Stars like Sharon Stone, Kim Basinger and Pamela Anderson have appeared in Playboy, so I’m happy to be in such good company. I’m proud of my photos and if I decide never to pose nude again, at least I made Playboy!” said Danielle

The 23-year old model joins the celebrity endorsement list that includes the likes of Naomi Campbell and Victoria Beckham, who have both modelled for the trendy Urban clothing label. Founded by Shawn ‘Jay-Z’ Carter, the Rocawear brand has excelled far beyond the United States market, consuming an international demand unmatched by other urban and Hip-Hop clothing brands.

In other news, Ms. Lloyd has signed up for the Channel 4’s Celebrity Big Brother. The producers of the British TV series “Celebrity Big Brother” have promised plenty of sexual intrigue in the upcoming season. The reality show’s cast, which includes Bollywood star Shilpa Shetty, Ian `H` Watkins from singing group Steps, ‘A Team’ actor Dirk Benedict and punk rocker Donny Tourette, will undergo a number of tests including a belly dance-off between Shetty and Lloyd, the London Daily Star reported Wednesday. The celebrities will be strapped to special monitors to determine who is the most sexually frustrated, sent on competitive speed dates and forced to flirt with unsuspecting house mates as part of a challenge.
