Pregnant Jessica Alba: Dont give everything too soon to your partner

Happy New Year! Preggy celebrities are expecting their first babies in 2008. They are Christina Aguilera, Jennifer Love Hewitt, Jamie Lynn Spears, and now Jessica Alba, 26, also preggy but at least she is not 16-years old like Lynn Spears. The former Dark Angel’s star is reportedly pregnant and engaged to her boyfriend Cash Warren. The couple announced earlier this month that they are expecting their first child together in late spring or early summer.
The sexiest woman in the world by FHM readers last April, Jessica Alba and Cash Warren, 28, have been an item since meeting on the set of The Fantastic Four in 2004, where the son of Hill Street Blues star Michael Warren was working as a director’s assistant and the actress was working as an invisible wielder of force fields.
In a recent interview for CosmoGIRL magazine, which also features the actress on the cover page, Alba said that young girls should wait for at least a year before succumbing to their partners’ wishes.
“Most guys, especially when they’re younger, really are only after one thing. To all the girls out there, I don’t want to say, ‘Don’t give your heart to somebody like that,’ But wait at least a good year,” People quoted her, as telling the mag.
“You can be in a relationship and do some things, have fun, get to know each other – but don’t give them everything,” she added.
Addressing the issue more seriously, the Sin City actress cited her own example, saying that she also committed the same mistake as a youngster. She said, “That was something I did at a young age, fell in love and gave him my everything, and I was left with nothing. It took me a long time to put myself back together, and I wish someone would have told me back them to hang on to some of myself.”
